Alexander “Ander” Shimek joined Emmanuel Sheppard & Condon in September 2022 as an associate attorney and works with our Personal Injury Law Group. Ander received his Bachelor of Science in Finance from Florida State University in 2019 and his Juris Doctorate from Cumberland School of Law. Ander began working with us as an accounting intern after receiving his bachelor’s degree and then worked two consecutive summers as a law clerk, with his second clerkship working specifically with the personal injury team.
Throughout law school, Ander competed on a national stage for Cumberland’s National Trial Team which at the time of his graduation in 2022 placed 4th in the Nation. Ander was also a junior member of Cumberland’s Trial Advocacy Program which ranked 10th in the nation in 2022.
Ander was born and raised in Pensacola, Florida and attended Pensacola Catholic High after 13 years of education from the Montessori School of Pensacola. Ander is active in his community and is a Board Member of the Escambia County Healthy Start Coalition.
