Gerald Brown has practiced in Northwest Florida since 1961 with the Pensacola firm Wells, Brown & Brady, P.A., and in 1997 merged his practice with Emmanuel, Sheppard, & Condon. He concentrates on business and commercial transactions, real property, estate planning, and probate law and has been rated an AV attorney by Martindale Hubbell.
Mr. Brown received his undergraduate degree from Louisiana State University in 1958 and received his law degree in 1961. He was admitted to practice in 1961 by the Louisiana Bar and The Florida Bar. He may practice in all state courts in Florida and Louisiana, the Northern Districts of Florida.
He has served on the Board of Governors of The Florida Bar, the House of Delegates of the American Bar Association, the Judicial Nomination Committee for the First Appellate District, and as City Attorney for Gulf Breeze. He has served on many other professional, business, civic, and charitable boards, and is a co-founder of the Grant-A-Wish Foundation. He's an avid LSU alumni and on Thursday afternoon, you will find Jerry on the golf course.
