P. Michael Patterson

A highly experienced litigator, Mike Patterson has tried hundreds of cases from complex federal income tax to substantial personal injury and death cases. Mike served as the U.S. Attorney for the Northern District of Florida. In that position, he exercised authority over all civil cases in North Florida in which the United States was a party and personally handled the case that resulted in the largest environmental judgment in the history of the Florida panhandle. Mike has represented both developers and citizens' groups in environmental cases. He has substantial experience in the application and enforcement of healthcare laws and regulations.

Mike has extensive experience in both mass tort litigation and the defense of environmental pollution actions. Numbered among his current clients are Agrico Chemical Company, Sacred Heart Health System, Wyeth Pharmaceuticals and Philip Morris. Mike enjoys professional relationships with firms throughout the United States. He has testified on prosecutorial ethics before the United States Senate Judiciary Committee.
