After college, Chuck served in the U.S. Navy in the early 1970’s and then attended Emory University, in Atlanta, where he earned a Masters' Degree in Business Administration. Chuck then went to work for a large manufacturing company, but left that position to attend law school and earned his Juris Doctorate Degree from Florida State University College of Law, in 1982.
Chuck remained in the Naval Reserve, served as the commanding officer of two Naval Reserve Intelligence units, and retired at the rank of Commander (0-5).
Chuck was a sole-practitioner in the 1980’s and 1990’s where his practice included civil litigation, family law, criminal defense, and family and civil mediation.
